Westfill Pty Ltd has announced the awarding of a two-year underground mining contract with Vault Minerals, formerly known as Silverlake Resources, for the Rothsay Mine. This mine is situated in the Warriedar Greenstone gold belt of the Yalgoo Goldfield, approximately 300 km northeast of Perth, Australia.

The contract includes both development and production activities, primarily focusing on the extraction of mineralized ore from narrow sub-vertical structures. Operations at Rothsay began on September 17, and the contract award highlights the strong partnership between Westfill and Vault Minerals.

Westfill Managing Director Ashley Morcombe expressed enthusiasm about securing their first full principal mining services contract with Red5 (now Vault Minerals following the merger with Silverlake Resources), emphasizing that Vault is a valued client. He credited the hard work and consistent high performance of the Darlot development team for positioning Westfill as a leading contender for the Rothsay contract. Morcombe extended his gratitude to the entire team for their efforts in securing the contract and mobilizing quickly, and he looks forward to achieving continued success at another of Vault Minerals’ sites.
