PROK, a global leader in conveyor component design, engineering, and manufacturing, has announced the opening of its new South Africa idler manufacturing facility in Johannesburg. It stated: “This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in PROK’s commitment to supporting the mining and bulk materials handling industries across Africa and globally with enhanced local capability, faster response times, and world-class conveyor solutions.”
The new facility strengthens PROK’s ability to deliver industry-leading conveyor rollers, idlers, and related services. Designed to support growing demand across key mining sectors, it says the facility will provide expanded engineering expertise, increased inventory availability, enhanced service capabilities, and improved lead times across a range of manufactured idlers. The facility caters for a wide range of idler sets and supporting equipment, including steel, hybrid, composite and impact idlers amongst some of the products being manufactured.
