One view of fuel across the operation

EHON Energy Tech brings onsite fuel control and multi-site inventory intelligence together through its FMS and VMI platform, helping organisations see what is happening at tanks and dispensers from one connected view.

Fuel rarely sits in one convenient place. A business may have a bulk fuel farm, workshop tanks, mobile equipment and depots spread across several sites. Each location generates useful information, but when tank readings and dispensing records stay in separate systems, it takes time to understand where fuel is going and when more is needed.

EHON Energy Tech addresses that challenge with Vendor Management Inventory (VMI), a cloud platform that brings fuel and fluid data together. From one login, teams can view stock levels and dispensing activity across connected locations, compare usage, review transactions, and produce site or consolidated reports. Alerts help draw attention to low stock and other conditions that require action. For the people planning deliveries, managing equipment and reconciling fuel, the benefit is a clearer shared picture.

Businesses do not all start with the same equipment. EHON’s Link Gateway connects compatible onsite systems, including supported PIUSI MC fuel management units and automatic tank gauging equipment, to VMI. Transaction and tank information can then enter the same reporting environment without replacing every controller in the field. EHON assesses compatibility and the connection method for each installation.

Alongside this integration path, the EHON FMS provides control at the point of dispense. Its terminal is designed to authorise users or vehicles, apply configured access rules and security prompts, and record transactions against connected pumps and meters. A high visibility screen helps operators follow the steps at the dispenser. The system connects dispensing activity with VMI, where authorised managers can examine transactions alongside tank information and stock reports.

That relationship between site control and central visibility is particularly useful when a business has several dispensing points or locations. A site team needs a straightforward way to issue fuel to the right user or vehicle. A manager needs to see consumption by site, equipment or department and investigate anything unexpected. Finance and procurement teams need dependable transaction and inventory records to support reconciliation and purchasing decisions. The connected FMS and VMI approach gives those teams information from the same operation, viewed at the level each needs.

Consider a mine with a main fuel farm, a remote workshop and a smaller satellite depot. The people at each location need to keep dispensing moving, while head office needs to understand stock and consumption across all three. With connected transaction and tank data, managers can compare the locations, look into an unusual usage pattern and plan replenishment with more context. The same principle applies to transport, construction, agriculture and other fuel-intensive businesses.

VMI also supports cross-site comparisons, tank reconciliation and cost analysis. Reporting can be adapted to the organisation’s requirements, whether it manages one facility or a network of locations. The Link Gateway offers a way to bring supported existing infrastructure into that view, while the EHON FMS serves operations looking for onsite dispensing control linked to the same portal. Configuration depends on the pumps, meters, tank monitoring equipment and communications available at each site.

The result is a more practical view of fuel across the business. Stock levels show what is available. Dispensing records show what has been issued. Alerts and reports help people act on that information without gathering separate files from each location. For mining operators and any organisation managing its own fuel, EHON Energy Tech can discuss the current infrastructure and a connected approach suited to its sites, wherever they operate.
