Azerbaijan Mining Expo 2027 to Showcase New Opportunities Across the Region’s Mining Sector
Baku, Azerbaijan – 2026 – Azerbaijan Mining Expo 2027 will take place from 8–10 September 2027 at Baku Expo Center, bringing together leading mining companies, government authorities, investors, EPC contractors, engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, technology providers and industry professionals from Azerbaijan, the Caucasus, Central Asia and international markets.
As Azerbaijan enters a new phase of mining development, the country is attracting growing attention from international investors and technology providers. The country’s significant gold, copper, iron ore and polymetallic resources, combined with ongoing exploration and development activities, are creating new opportunities across the mining value chain.
More than 170 prospective mining sites have been identified in Karabakh and East Zangezur, while plans are underway to develop 134 new mineral deposits by 2030 and modernise existing mining operations. These developments are expected to increase demand for advanced exploration technologies, mining equipment, mineral processing solutions, digital systems, engineering services and sustainable technologies.
