DISA Technologies raises $33 million to scale critical minerals processing and uranium remediation technology

DISA Technologies Inc. has secured $33 million in strategic financing, led by Galvanize with participation from BHP Ventures, to accelerate the deployment of its mineral processing and uranium remediation technologies.

The company said the funding will support the commercialisation and scaling of its solutions, aimed at addressing growing demand for critical mineral supply and domestic uranium site remediation.

DISA’s patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA™) technology is designed to enhance mineral recovery from both active mining operations and legacy uranium sites, offering a more efficient and lower-impact alternative to conventional processing methods.

The financing round also saw continued backing from existing investors, including Evok Innovations, Constellation Energy, Halliburton Labs, Valor Equity Partners, and Veriten. With this latest raise, DISA has secured approximately $83 million in total funding to date.

The company is currently expanding deployment across mining operations and Abandoned Uranium Mine (AUM) remediation projects, with commercial units already operating at several global sites and more than 100 AUM sites under contract.

In September 2025, DISA received a licence from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, enabling it to carry out remediation at uranium mine sites across the United States. Initial projects are expected to begin later this year, including work on the Navajo Nation and at a federal site.

The company stated that the continued participation of both new and existing investors reflects strong confidence in its strategy to address critical mineral supply challenges while unlocking value from legacy uranium assets. Over the past year, DISA has advanced regulatory approvals, deployed commercial-scale units, and expanded its remediation and recovery platform.
