Your PPE gets Pinker – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October 2023

Bollé Safety is thrilled to renew its partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) this October in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In our previous collaboration we joined BCNA’s Pink Tradie campaign, where tradies were encouraged to wear pink at work, host fundraisers and have open conversations about breast cancer. Our contribution wasn’t just financial. We developed and introduced a customised pink version of the popular Rush+ Small safety glasses. Available with either clear or smoke lenses these glasses were equipped featuring Bollé Safety’s exclusive Platinum anti-scratch, anti-fog coating. They not only looked stylish but also encouraged tradies to raise breast cancer awareness and highlight the crucial role BCNA plays in supporting those affected by breast cancer.

This year, we’re expanding our support. Introducing B714, a prescription safety eyewear model that compliments the Rush+ Small. This versatile eyewear is available in both regular and small sizes fitted with our signature Platinum anti-scratch, anti-fog coating. The B714 allows those who wear prescription glasses to ‘pink up’ without compromising on safety and comfort. Bollé Safety will donate $10 from every sale of B714, $1 from every pair of Rush+ Small sold, in addition to a generous donation of $10,000 to further BCNA’s mission.

It is estimated that in 2023, 20,675 Australian women and men will receive a breast cancer diagnosis. Beyond the physical toll of breast cancer, those affected grapple with psychological, emotional and financial strains. Both the individual and their wider circle of friends, family, and their community can be influenced by a diagnosis. BCNA’s mission is to ensure everyone impacted by breast cancer receives the very best care, treatment, and support.
