AI data-fabric Treefera secures $30 million in Series B funding to accelerate global expansion and meet demand for supply chain transparency

Treefera, the AI-powered data fabric driving supply chain resilience, today announced it has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round. The investment, led by Notion Capital with continued support from AlbionVC, Triple Point, and Twin Path Ventures—and with Endeit Capital set to join—comes less than a year after Treefera’s Series A and reflects strong investor confidence in the company’s strategy to transform first-mile transparency across global supply chains.

With supply chains facing increasing volatility from climate change, regulatory pressure, and geopolitical shifts, the first mile—where raw materials and commodities are sourced—has become a critical risk point. Despite accounting for more than 60% of supply chain risk and cost, the first mile remains one of the least transparent segments.

Treefera’s platform addresses this by combining high-resolution satellite imagery, adaptive AI, and financial-grade risk modeling to turn fragmented, hard-to-access data into real-time, actionable insights.

“Our world depends on nature-based commodities, yet the origins of these assets are often invisible to the systems that rely on them,” said Jonathan Horn, Founder and CEO of Treefera. “Treefera gives enterprises the data clarity they need to strengthen resilience, protect revenue, and unlock regenerative opportunities. With this new backing, we’re accelerating our global mission—for the benefit of business and planet alike.”

Funding to Drive Global Expansion and Advanced Capabilities

The new capital will fuel Treefera’s expansion across North America, APAC, and Europe, and support enhancements to its AI-driven platform. Key upcoming developments include:

  • Real-time commodity tracking
  • Advanced geospatial analytics
  • Automated regulatory compliance capabilities

These innovations aim to provide enterprises with greater supply chain predictability amid rising environmental and market complexity.

“Treefera has built a category-defining platform at the nexus of AI, data, and supply chain transparency,” said Patrick Norris, General Partner at Notion Capital. “In less than a year, they’ve become the trusted partner for enterprises managing supply chain risk and carbon obligations. We’re proud to support their vision for a resilient, decarbonized future.”

Sara Resvik, Partner at Endeit Capital, added: “Treefera’s ability to distill massive supply chain datasets into climate-critical insights is unmatched. Their methodology aligns perfectly with our climate tech focus, and we’re excited to back their mission to deliver AI-powered supply chain transparency and decarbonization.”

Market Momentum and Differentiated Technology

Treefera’s platform is already in use across sectors including energy, pharmaceuticals, insurance, agriculture, forestry, and professional services. It enables customers to monitor the origin, flow, and health of key commodities, accelerating project validation and improving supply chain integrity.

A major differentiator is Treefera’s commitment to efficient AI infrastructure. The company leverages decentralized networks and opportunistic computing to reduce environmental impact and operating costs while delivering high-performance results.

Following its previous $12 million Series A and $2.2 million pre-seed rounds, Treefera continues to demonstrate strong growth and market leadership. The latest funding will advance its go-to-market efforts and deepen first-mile intelligence, risk management, and compliance capabilities.
